MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 1) – The Waynesburg University women's track & field team wrapped up the 2025-26 season at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which were hosted by West Virginia University. The Yellow Jackets placed 8
th in the 12-team field with 33 points.
The Yellow Jackets were led by junior
Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock), who won her first PAC championship in the javelin. Her top throw of 39.05 meters bested the second-place thrower by more than two meters.
Junior
Ella Rishell (Montgomery County, Md. / Watkins Mill) had a very productive two days in Morgantown. She placed fifth in the 400 meters (59.40 seconds), eighth in the 200 meters (27.06 seconds) and seventh in the triple jump (9.83 meters). Rishell also ran a leg in the Jackets' 4x100-meter relay team that placed seventh. She joined sophomore

Chanelle Sutton (Mount Storm, W.Va. / Union Educational Complex) and freshman
Adaire Settles (Canonsburg, Pa. / Canon-McMillan) to post a time of 51.51 seconds.
Speaking of Settles, the first-year speedster took fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a mark of 1:07.03.
Waynesburg secured two spots in the podium in the 10,000 meters thanks to senior
Grace Tanksley (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence) and freshman
Erin Belveal (Bay Village, Ohio / Bay), who placed third and fifth, respectively. Tanksley crossed the finish line in 38:42.32, while Belveal completed the grueling race in 39:19.51.
Geneva took home this year's team title.
