NEW ORLEANS, La. (July 21) – Both Waynesburg University track & field teams were recognized for their efforts in the classroom on Monday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Each squad was lauded as an All-Academic Team, while rising senior Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock) was honored as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete.

Both of the Yellow Jacket men and women were named as All-Academic Teams for the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor seasons. To earn All-Academic Team status, a squad must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.10 through the most recent semester.

Waynesburg's women recorded a 3.66 GPA while the men maintained a 3.36. The Jacket women collect the honor for the seventh-straight season and 15th time overall. The men receive All-Academic status for the sixth-straight year.

Double, who also won a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) title and was named all-region in the javelin, boasted a 4.00 GPA as an English Professional Writing major.
