WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Aug. 7) – August is here and that means the Yellow Jackets will be back in action in just a few weeks. To get you ready for the fall 2026 season, let's take a look at the highlights of the upcoming schedules for your favorite Autumn programs.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
After putting together arguably the best season in program history, women's soccer once again has its sights set on grabbing an elusive Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) title. However, Jacket fans will have to wait a while to see their favorite squad at John F. Wiley Stadium, as the returning PAC runners-up and 2025 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) champions play their first four games on the road in the span of just eight days.
After a pair of home non-conference battles against Baldwin Wallace on Friday, Sept. 11, and Mount Aloysius on Saturday, Sept. 12, Waynesburg opens conference competition in Pittsburgh against Chatham on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The Jackets' first home conference tilt comes on Saturday, Sept. 19, against Geneva.
Fans of PAC women's soccer should have Saturday, Sept. 26, circled on their calendars. That day sees Waynesburg heading to arch-rival Grove City in a rematch of the 2025 PAC championship game, which was won 1-0 by the Wolverines. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
History will be made on Wednesday, Oct. 14, when Waynesburg heads to Saint Francis for its first-ever meeting with the former Division I program that moved to the PAC this past offseason. It is the second of two games against first-time opponents, with the first coming against a very talented non-conference opponent in Dickinson on Friday, Sept. 4.
The Jackets wrap up the regular season with back-to-back home PAC dustups against Westminster on Tuesday, Oct. 20, and Franciscan on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Like their female counterparts, the Waynesburg men open conference competition on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Chatham, before coming home to face traditional league power Geneva on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Unlike the Jacket women, the men's kickers end their regular season on the road with a non-PAC showdown against Alfred on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The Orange and Black open the home portion of its schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 15, when the Mount Aloysius Mounties come to town on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Following a trip to the Grove City Invitational on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19, Waynesburg opens PAC play with back-to-back league tilts on Wednesday, Sept. 23, against Saint Francis and Friday, Sept. 25, against Thiel.
Four-straight road conference contests between Wednesday, Sept. 30, and Friday, Oct. 9, will be followed by four-straight league showdowns at the Marisa Fieldhouse during the second half of October. The last of those meetings will serve as the Jackets' home finale against Saint Vincent on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Waynesburg concludes the 2026 campaign with three-straight road contests, including a tri-match at Geneva on Friday, Nov. 6.
