EDINBORO, Pa. (March 21) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team began year two of the program at Edinboro on Saturday with a 17-1 loss at Edinboro.

The Fighting Scots took a 12-1 lead at the end of the first half, with Waynesburg's only goal coming from first-year midfielder Maria Shepas. Yellow Jacket goalkeeper Amanda Jo Morgan made two saves in her first-ever game in goal.

The Jackets return to action on Wednesday, March 25, when they face Wilson (Pa.) for their home-opener at John F. Wiley Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
