FREDERICK, Md. (Apr. 2) – The Waynesburg women's lacrosse team saw it's two-game winning streak come to an end on Thursday when they fell 21-1 to Hood College.
After giving up the first five goals of the contest, the Yellow Jackets (2-2) got back into the game with a goal from senior midfielder Steph Strauser to trim the lead to 5-1.
Unfortunately, The Blazers scored the final 16 goals of the contest to take the win.
Waynesburg goalkeeper Amanda Jo Morgan made a season-high 13 saves in net.
The Jackets will try to get back on the winning track on Saturday when they head back to Maryland to take on Frostburg State. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
