Women's lacrosse falls at Adrian

Bulldogs best Yellow Jackets 21-1

ADRIAN, Mich. (March 20) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team lost to Adrian College by the final of 21-1 on Saturday.

 

The loss dropped the Yellow Jackets to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs improved to 5-2 on the year.

 

Waynesburg's only goal came courtesy of freshman Molly Kramer, who scored with just over two minutes to go in the game after Adrian built up a 21-0 lead. The Jackets were out-shot 39-2 on the day.

 

Freshman goalkeeper Courtney Frain got the start in net and played all 60 minutes. She made 14 saves on the day.

 

Waynesburg returns to action on Wednesday, March 24, when they make their home debut at John F. Wiley against Lake Erie.
