Women's lacrosse falls at Washington & Jefferson

Yellow Jackets drop 18-0 contest to Presidents

WASHINGTON, Pa. (March 31) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team fell on the road at Washington & Jefferson by the score of 18-0 on Wednesday.

 

The loss dropped the Yellow Jackets to 1-4 on the season, while the Presidents improved to 6-2 on the year.

 

Freshman Courtney Frain started the match and made three saves over the first half of play. Sophomore Erin Burry played the final 30 minutes in net and stopped five W&J shots. The Jackets were out-shot 29-5 on the day.

 

The Jackets will try to get back on the winning track when they travel to Latrobe to face Saint Vincent.
