LATROBE, Pa. (April 7) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team fell to Saint Vincent by the final score of 26-2 on Wednesday.
After the game had wrapped up, both teams' records stood at 1-5.
The Yellow Jackets fell behind 15-0 at halftime and fell behind 21-0 in the second before the Jackets got their only goals of the game from freshmen Mandy Ormsby and Molly Kramer to cut the score of 21-2.
Courtney Frain got the start for the Jackets and made four saves, before being relieved by Erin Burry, who stopped five shots.
The Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday, April 9, when they host the University of Dallas. The contest is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
