MEADVILLE, Pa. (March 16) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team played its second game in as many days on Wednesday at Allegheny College.
The Yellow Jackets (0-3) fell to the Gators (3-3) by the final score of 19-0. The Jackets fell behind 12-0 at halftime and were out-shot 45-10. Freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Schlieper played all 60 minutes in net and stopped a career-high 11 shots on goal.
Waynesburg continues its busy week on Saturday, March 19, when they return home to John F. Wiley Stadium to face Medaille College. The game is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m.
