WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 25) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team ended the 2012 season with a 19-8 home loss to Thiel on Wednesday at John F. Wiley Stadium.

Senior Maria Shepas concluded an outstanding collegiate career by recording team highs in goals (four), assists (two) and total points (six). She also ends the season with school records in goals (31), assists (10) and total points (42) in a season. Sophomore Toria Shepherd and junior Mandy Ormsby added two goals each in the loss, while senior goalkeeper Erin Burry tallied 14 saves on the day.
