He also finished in the top half of the 10-man 200-meter dash with a mark 24.25 seconds.

Waynesburg established a solid presence in the throws thanks to the duo of sophomore Aidan Sheely (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg) and freshman Garrett Hillard (Greenville, Pa. / Greenville). Sheely and Hillard placed third and fourth, respectively, in the shot put with throws of 11.94 meters (39-2.25) and 10.87 meters (35-8).  Hillard took second in the weight throw after a toss of 9.49 meters (31-1.75), while Sheely grabbed the bronze with a heave of 9.08 meters (29-9.5).

Moving to the women's side, freshman Michaela Rose made the five-woman final out of 13 competitors in the 60-meter dash. After qualifying with a mark of 8.23 seconds, Rose crossed the finish line in 8.28 seconds during the finals. She was even more impressive in the 200 meters, in which she won her section and placed third among 16 runners overall with a time of 27.85 seconds.

Junior Katherine Henderson (Hundred, W.Va. / Hundred) competed and was Waynesburg's top performer in all three jumps. She finished third in the long jump with a distance of 4.63 meters (15-2.25), took second in the triple jump with a hop, skip and a jump of 9.69 meters (31-9.5) and cleared 1.45 meters (4-9), which was good fourth in the high jump.
