TRAFFORD, Pa. (Feb. 17) – The Waynesburg University track & field team had a fantastic Friday night at the Ohio Wesleyan University Open, with a slew of outstanding individual efforts. Two of the individuals at the forefront of that evening's success were honored by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) with weekly awards.

Freshman Daniella Holley (Banegat, N.J. / Barnegat) was lauded as the PAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Newcomer of the Week after stamping her name in the Waynesburg University indoor record books. She won the high jump at OWU by clearing 1.58 meters/5-2.25. That mark tied for the third highest in program history and ranks fourth in the PAC this season. Holley also took third in the 60-meter hurdles (10.50 seconds).

Junior Jacob Harker (Lilly, Pa. / Bishop Carroll) was named PAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week after winning the weight throw at OWU with a toss of 14.04 meters/46-0.75, good for third in the PAC this year. He added a second-place showing in the shot put and broke his own school men's indoor record with a heave of 15.32m/50-3.25, keeping him first in the PAC this year in the event and ties him for fourth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
