DELAWARE, Ohio (Feb. 13) – The Waynesburg University men's indoor track & field team traveled to the Ohio Wesleyan University Open on Friday evening. There was no team scoring at the event, but there were several strong performances for the Yellow Jackets, including junior standout Jacob Harker (Lilly, Pa. / Bishop Carroll) picking up a win in the weight throw and breaking his own school record in the shot put.

60 Meters
J.P. Groves (Hampstead, Md. / DeLone Catholic): 5th place – 7.35 seconds
 
200 Meters
Michael Wines (Hamlin, W.Va. / Nitro): 6th place – 24.08 seconds
 
4x200 Meters
Kyle Casella (Clarksboro, N.J. / Kingsway), Dequan DeBauche (Brookfield, Wisc. / Brookfield East), Wines, Jordan Jacobs (Jefferson, Pa. / Jefferson-Morgan): 1st place – 1:36.92 *3rd in program history
 
400 Meters
Noah Jones (Rockville, Md. / Sandy Spring Friends): 7th place – 53.99 seconds
 
800 Meters
Kyle Casella (Clarksboro, N.J. / Kingsway): 4th place – 2:08.61
Nicky Todd (Homer City, Pa. / Homer Central): 7th place – 2:12.54
 
Long Jump
Marcus Crum Jr. (Warren, Ohio / Warren G. Harding): 1st place – 6.61 meters *8th in program history
Wines: 2nd place – 6.31 meters
Jones: 3rd place – 6.21 meters

Pole Vault
Groves: 3rd place - 3.02 meters
 
High Jump
Crum: 1st place – 1.75 meters
Connor Luckock (Charleroi, Pa. / Charleroi): 4th place - 1.65 meters
John Stewart (Lancaster, Pa. / JP McCaskey): 5th place – 1.55 meters  

Weight Throw
Harker: 1st place – 14.04 meters *5th in program history

The Yellow Jackets get two weeks to prepare for the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Championships in Youngstown, Ohio on Thursday, Feb. 26.
