VIENNA, Ohio (October 15) – The Waynesburg University women's golf team placed ninth at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Fall Championships at Squaw Creek on Tuesday.
The two-day event served as the first 36 holes of the 72-hole PAC Championship with the second half to be played in the spring. The Jackets finished with a team total of 1,030 strokes. Westminster leads the field by six strokes.
Maeve Hanley (Punxsutawney, Pa. / Punxsutawney) shot a team-best 103 on Monday and finished 34th with a two-round total of 219.
Abigail Noble (West Alexander, Pa. / McGuffey) notched a par on the back nine in both rounds and finished 37th at 225 strokes.
Julia Clement (Johnstown, Pa. / Westmont Hilltop) improved by 14 strokes on Wednesday to post a 122 and finish 43rd.
Sara Otto (Frostburg, Md. / Mountain Ridge) completed Waynesburg's lineup in 45th. She notched a par on her final hole of the tournament.
The Waynesburg women's golf team resumes its season in the spring semester.
