BOARDMAN, Ohio (April 26) – The Waynesburg University women's golf team had three individuals compete at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Golf Spring Championships on Friday and Saturday at the Mill Creek North Golf Course.
The PAC Championship format features 36 holes in the fall and 36 in the spring. With only three competitors in the spring rounds, the Yellow Jackets did not appear in the team scoring.
Each of Waynesburg's competitors improved their score from Friday to Saturday at the spring championships.
Maeve Hanley (Punxsutawney, Pa. / Punxsutawney) shot a team-best 105 on Saturday after carding a 116 on Friday. Her four-round score of 437 slotted her 31st overall across all four championship rounds.
Abigail Noble (West Alexander, Pa. / McGuffey) went 113-110 on Friday and Saturday to finish with 448 strokes over 72 championship holes. Her score of 448 has her 33rd on the individual leaderboard.
Julia Clement (Johnstown, Pa. / Westmont Hilltop) dropped 21 strokes from Friday to Saturday with a 124 in her final round. Clement's 527 strokes placed her 39th overall in the conference.
Sara Otto (Frostburg, Md. / Mountain Ridge) competed in both PAC Fall Championship rounds, totaling 331 strokes.
