CANONSBURG, Pa. (April 7) – The Waynesburg University women's golf team competed at the Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational, hosted by Washington & Jefferson at the Southpointe Golf Club on Monday.
The Yellow Jackets finished seventh of seven teams at the event with a team total of 552 strokes. Host W&J took the team title with 359 strokes.
Maeve Hanley (Punxsutawney, Pa. / Punxsutawney) led the Jackets with 108 strokes, tying for 24th in the 37-woman field.
Abigail Noble (West Alexander, Pa. / McGuffey) followed in 27th at 120 strokes.
Julia Clement (Johnstown, Pa. / Westmont Hilltop) was 35th,
Sara Otto (Frostburg, Md. / Mountain Ridge) followed in 36th and
Kalista Friday (Woodsfield, Ohio / Monroe Central) placed 37th in her Waynesburg golf debut.
Waynesburg travels to Carlow on Saturday.
