MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 21) – The Waynesburg University women's track & field team opened the outdoor portion of its schedule this weekend at the Marty Pushkin Invitational, which was hosted by West Virginia University. There was no team scoring at the meet, but the Yellow Jackets gathered up four top 10 finishes at the meet.

Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock) led the charge with a second place showing in the javelin that traveled 37.18 meters.

Ella Rishell (Montgomery County, Md. / Watkins Mill) showcased her athletic versatility with a pair of top 10 finishes, including the fourth-place distance in the triple jump (10.17 meters). She also placed ninth place lead in the long jump (4.61 meters) and placed in the top half of the 200 meters (12
th out of 39) with a time of 26.73 seconds.
The Jackets' final top-five performance came in the 400-meter hurdles courtesy of freshman
Adaire Settles (Canonsburg, Pa. / Canon-McMillan). Settles produced the fifth-place time of 1:09.81
